WIGHT's
OLD
RESERVE
KENTUCKY STRAIGHT BOURBON WHISKY
Wight’s Old Reserve is a carefully composed blend of mature Kentucky straight bourbons, bringing together wheated and rye mash bills to achieve both richness and balance. Each barrel is selected individually and blended with precision, resulting in a whiskey that is expressive without excess.
- Distilled in Kentucky
- Locally sourced grains including soft red winter wheat
- Aged 4 to 8 years
- Blend of wheated and rye mash bills
- 93 proof and cask strength expressions
TASTING NOTES
Wight’s Old Reserve opens with notes of baked apple, caramel, and honey, followed by layers of cornbread, vanilla, and baking spice. The palate is rounded and smooth, with the softness of wheat balancing the structure and spice of rye. The finish is warm, lingering, and composed.
OUR PROCESS
Our role is not to distill, but to refine. We source mature bourbon from Kentucky and focus on:
- Barrel selection
- Aging and maturation
- Blending for balance and consistency
Each numbered batch is produced in limited quantities to preserve quality and control.
A NAME WITH HISTORY
The name Wight appears throughout the history of spirits and trade, from early distilling traditions in England to the development of American whiskey.
Wight & Co. Distillers is a modern company, inspired by this history but focused on defining its own path—one grounded in quality and craftsmanship.
