MANHATTAN

Classic Manhattan cocktail tailored to the flavor profile of Wight’s Old Reserve Bourbon.

Made with two flavors of bitters and a smear of cherry syrup, this recipe complements the wheat and brings out the rye in Wight’s Old Reserve.

Ingredients:

  • 2 oz Wight’s Old Reserve Bourbon
  • 1 oz Antica Formula® or Noilly Prat® sweet vermouth
  • 2 dashes Angostura® aromatic bitters
  • 5 drops Angostura® orange bitters
  • 1 Luxardo® cherry and it’s syrup

How to craft:

  1. Pour all ingredients (except the cherry) into a mixing glass filled with ice.
  2. Drizzle a small amount of Luxardo® cherry syrup around the inside of a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Stir well and strain into the glass pouring over the cherry syrup allowing it to dissolve.
  4. Garnish with cherry.
