GOLD RUSH
Perfect for spring and summer, the Wight's Gold Rush is light, refreshing, citrus-forward, and not too sweet.

Ingredients:
- 2.5 oz Wight’s Old Reserve Bourbon
- 1 oz blue agave simple syrup (see below)
- 1 tsp freshly squeezed lemon juice
How to craft:
- Pour Wight's Old Reserve Bourbon into an empty cocktail shaker (don't add ice just yet).
- Add lemon juice.
- Add agave simple syrup.
- Stir or shake well to thoroughly dissolve the syrup.
- Add ice and shake vigorously for 20 seconds.
- Pour into cocktail glass over ice.
- Garnish with a lemon twist.
Agave simple syrup:
- Mix 1 part blue agave nectar with 2 parts room temperature water.
- Shake well.
Tips:
- Do not use agave syrup that requires refrigeration. It may be too thick to easily dissolve.
- Instead of making the syrup separately, just add 1/3 oz blue agave nectar and 2/3 oz water.
